The Challenge
Eurocentres is a leader in the language travel industry. Their website was becoming outdated and inefficient in terms of design and usability. Finding information and enrolling online was difficult, and administration of the multi-language, heavily localized storefronts was too complicated and time consuming. This situation motivated a significant transformation of the site.
The Approach
The new website had to be more user friendly, more current in its design, and easier to manage. Eurocentres picked Cando Image, the pioneers of Drupal Commerce in Switzerland, for the project; Commerce Guys was brought in for consulting and technical guidance. Moving to Drupal Commerce was bold at the time: Drupal 7 was not yet in the alpha stage, and Drupal Commerce was not yet in beta. The project was delivered successfully, nonetheless, and the move to Drupal Commerce ensures long-term viability for eurocentres.com.
