Commerce Guys is excited to announce our Drupal Powered E-commerce training to be delivered on August 23 at DrupalCon Copenhagen. Ryan Szrama, Damien Tournoud, Mike O'Connor, and Greg Beuthin will come together to take students from "noob to ninja" in an 8 hour hands-on session introducing all things e-commerce on Drupal.
The format will resemble our Ubercart training from DrupalCon San Francisco, with lessons taught by a single teacher interspersed with hands-on practice under the guidance of all the trainers. We'll begin by introducing various e-commerce modules for Drupal, including Ubercart for Drupal 6 and Drupal Commerce for Drupal 7. We'll then shepherd the class through a fantasy site build resembling our Ubercart demo store, with the actual system used throughout the training depending on Drupal 7's release status at the time.
Feedback from our San Francisco training was overwhelmingly positive. Every one of our students surveyed said they would attend the training again, and comments indicate the format of the class paid off. Since then we've refined the curriculum based on attendee suggestions to bring an even greater value to students in Copenhagen. One reviewer summarized the training, "I think it is a credit both to the software and to Ryan's explanations that I left the class feeling confident of my ability to use Ubercart, and that it isn't particularly hard."
