Commerce Guys (the creator of Drupal Commerce, the eCommerce site management system based on the Drupal CMS) is set to unveil a whole new genre in cloud hosting service platforms (PaaS). Called Platform, this offer hosted on Amazon Web Services, is distinguished by two innovations. First, continuous integration infrastructure, based on the Git repository management tool that allows one to clone a website or web application complete with all its data (configuration files, database, Apache, etc.) down to byte level, and in just a few seconds.
