Commerce Guys West Coast (formerly af83, Inc.) has been hosting the San Francisco Drupal Users Group meet-ups for some time at pariSoma. However, this week we hosted SFDUG in our new office at 160 Folsom Street, San Francisco, CA. While we've had good event space in the past, it pales in comparison to the hotness our new office provided the 80+ Drupalers who showed up on Monday.
The agenda for the evening included two sessions followed by Q&A with general geeking out over drinks. Stephanie Pakrul was on hand to give us an awesome behind the scenes, "this is how we built it" tour of Top Notch Themes' new site, Fusion Drupal Themes. She's already posted both slides and video in case you missed it or need a second look. Our own John Faber batted second with an introduction to deploying Drupal sites on Amazon EC2, dubbed at the meet-up a "poor man's VMware".
If you're in the Bay Area, come get your Drupal on in our monthly SFDUG meet-ups. We had a blast filling the office on Monday and look forward to many more meet-ups, trainings, and other events in-house.
For those interested, we have six spots available for full-time Drupal freelancers looking for a sweet co-working space. We'd also be more than happy to fill those seats with Drupalers interested in joining Commerce Guys full-time to drive the development of Drupal as the world's best open source e-commerce platform.
